Thanks again,    ECG I recently bought a laptop and would like to transfer the information I input onto xy- family-tree from my desktop to my laptop.   Is there an easy way of doing this?    Diana   [XY can run from a USB memory stick key or CD] So far it has been pretty friendly to use and attach basic links and images. I have over 500 entries to navigate through so I was looking for a program that allowed quick inputs and was logical. Now that I have had a chance to become more familiar with it, I am even more impressed. I particularly like the intuitive user interface and the ease with which an on-line version of the database can be created.   Steve I have started to use the program and am enjoying the ease of inputting information and working. Joe I am impressed with the intuitive operation of the program - it seems to need very little in the way of guidance for the user.  Mike I'm relatively new to genealogy but I can tell you that XY Family Tree is my favorite family tree program.
